Years ago, as I neared my own retirement, I wanted to find out what retirement meant to others who had made this journey before me.   Trying to define retirement is trying to define the wind.  It is different things to different people.  As unique and varied as the experiences are, retirement is often not what we expected not what we planned for.

I looked to the internet for a website that spoke about the issues that concerned me and others like me.  I found sites that helped seniors find friends, investments and vacation homes.  But I did not find a site that encouraged communication with its readers about all of the various topics of their lives.  So, I found some talented individuals who filled the sites with inspiration, news, and opinion, but most of all, with purpose.  Our shared purpose is to inform, educate and provide whatever we can to make this thing called retirement a little less worrisome, a little more inviting, and attainable enough to manage in today’s society, wherever we are and however we choose to RETIRE.

Love of the RV lifestyle was included in my idea of retirement so another website showcasing RV’s and all that the RV lifestyle entails, seemed like a natural next step.  The investment site came later as we realized the opportunities offered for average middle class folks, like me, living busy lives.    Once I reached the age of retirement, the daily work of running the sites started to interfere with the retirement of my personal dreams, so the decision to let the sites go was made.  The decision wasn’t an easy one as our success at achieving what we set out to do, was extraordinarily fulfilling.

I have been working this WordPress along with a talented team site daily for almost 4 years now and she has been very well taken care of. All content is unique hand written by me or my writers. This site once consisted of over 500 pages of 500+ word articles, however due to flawed hosting we lost retire a year or so back. However, now after taking some time off for medical issues, and reigniting my passion to bring retirement information news to the core of this site- a rebirth has taken place.

With everything at stake in America and even all over the Globe, it is essential that people stay informed on things, it is also very important that people take a stand, express their opinions, and be welcomed to participate in what we call “this life”.
